Shelby is a proud third-generation Colorado native with a lifelong passion for caring for animals of all species. Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, frogs, fish, and birds, she developed a deep appreciation for the unique needs of each animal. Shelby began her career as a registered technician in small animal general practice, where she built a strong foundation in patient care before pursuing her true passion of working with and helping exotic animals. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys embracing Colorado’s outdoors through hiking and snowboarding, as well as expressing her creativity through painting. At home, she shares her life with two cats, a crested gecko, a leopard gecko, and a betta fish, further reflecting her dedication to and love for animals.
